About Me

My name is Defne and I’m from Istanbul, Turkey. This is my first year living in London and studying at LCC. As a media student, I’m very interested in talking about media’s role in shaping our lives. That’s why I’ll be mostly writing about social events, politics, and reviews. I also hope to show you aspects of Turkey you may not come across in mainstream media. I’m taking you along my life in London as a foreigner, and showing you how I’m (trying to) adapt to the hustle.
